Barn Candles have been hand-poured at The Barn in Hastings, Nebraska since 1997. The process is meticulous and carefully monitored, and has evolved with time. We continue to look for ways of improving what we already consider to be a very excellent product. In 2003 we introduced our new Soy/Vegetable blend wax for a cleaner, more environmentally friendly candle.
The selection process for each fragrance is very much a group effort. All of our staff members sample each fragrance made available to the public and many don’t make it past the front door! Fragrance, color and burn quality are the most important factors influencing the introduction of a new scent to our line. Consumer tastes change over time. As old fragrances retire, new ones are added each year.
